September 28, 1933 – January 14, 2010 Mr. Otis Leon Evans, Sr., age 76, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2010 in the local hospital. Mr. Evans was born in the Wildfork Community of Escambia County and had moved back there in 1974, coming from Millry, AL. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, having served with the U.S. Army, and was a meat cutter for Winn-Dixie and Delchamps for a number of years. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Holiness Church.
