GREENSBORO, ALABAMA “The Greensboro Watchman” March 24, 1887 BILL SEAY, an old and respected darkey, who has been quite a noted character in these parts for many years, died on last Friday. April 28, 1887 ANDERSON OAKES, colored, was hung at Jasper, AL on last Friday, for the murder of a MR.
