  1. James M Hill b:1815 in Alabama, married Elizabeth King in Marshall Co on Apr 27, 1848. Looking for his parents, I believe his father was James M Hill Sr, but cannot prove this info. If anybody has info please let me know, any info will be welcome.

  3. Seeking All info on Louanna Bales, Listed in the 1900 census as daughter of Burl C. Bales. Louanna was born abt. 1893. MY Grandmother was a Louanna Bales. maybe this was her.

  4. Does anyone know where Robert Erwin b 22 Apr 1782 d 3 May 1843 Hazel Green is buried? Would like to view grave. Family member said son James Jackson Erwin was buried beside him. James b 4 Apr 1822 or 23 died 8 Sep 1901

  5. Amos Robinson, Cherokee, received a reservation in Marshall County, AL in the treaty of 1817. The Robinson/Roberson/Robertson Reservation still shows on area maps today. His daughter Eliza married Andrew Ice, and the family went by wagon train to Rusk Xo. Texas. Eliza died en-route, at Shreveport, LA of cholera. Amos’ son James T. Robinson stayed on the land, which remained in the family until the late 1800s.

    Merrill Collier (son of Thomas & Sarah) – b. 1818 North Carolina d. 1887 Marshall, Alabama married (Benton, AL 1846) Melinda Caroline Lokey – b. 1827 Georiga d. 1904 Oklahoma
    Benjamin Lokey – b. 1795 North Carolina d. 1879 Marshall, Alabama married Martha W. Collier (Thomas Collier’s niece ) – b. 1807 South Carolina d. 1895 Marshall, Alabama

I am looking for information on any Parkers or Givens in the Grant area in the late 1800’s my 2nd ggrandfather was Richard Henry Givens he married Ellen Barnes in 1885 and they lived their lives on Blue bend rd. We haven’t been able to find anything on him before he gets married.He also used the last name Parker at different times which is also a mystery thanks in advance.
