Mrs. Evie Lee Brantley, age 98, passed away Friday, August 20, 2010 at her home in Repton. Mrs. Brantley had lived in Conecuh County most of her life and was a resident of Repton. She was a member of Oakdale Assembly of God Church in Repton. Mrs. Brantley was a homemaker.
Mrs. Brantley is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Brantley; her sons, Clyde Brantley and Claude Brantley and her daughter, Janice Knowles.
Mrs. Brantley is survived by her sons, Robert Brantley of Repton, Ray Brantley of Repton and Curtis Brantley of Bay Minette; her daughters, Earline Nall of Lenox and Geraldine Johnson of Excel; her sisters, Lucille Pitts of Repton and Inez Bartlett of Repton; 28 grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren and 16 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Brantley will be Sunday, August 22, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Monroe Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Benjamin Young and Rev. Billy House officiating. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery in Lenox. Visitation for Mrs. Brantley will be Saturday, August 21, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. The family is accepting flowers or donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
