Mr. Robert Joseph ‘Bobby’ Lee, age 76 of Flomaton, AL passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at his home after a lengthy illness.
Mr. Lee was a native of Marianna, FL, and a member of the Flomaton community for 48 years coming from McDavid, FL. He was a member of the National Guard and worked as a shift supervisor for 37 years for Jefferson Smurfit. He was a Florida State fan and enjoyed fishing and frog gigging. Mr. Lee was a member of Flomaton United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by is parents, Early Ernest and Mittie Mae Bass Lee, Sr.; brothers, Early Ernest Lee, Jr. and Carl H. Lee; son-in-law, Kenneth Johnson.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, the love of his life, Janice P. Lewis Lee of Flomaton, AL; son, Robert E. (Dr. Anna) Lee of Flomaton, AL; daughters, Tonya Johnson and Kyleigh Shae Johnson, both of Flomaton, AL; sister, Catherine Joy Lewis of N.C.; grandchildren, Kenny Shane Johnson, Keenan Shawn Johnson, Robert Hunter ‘Lil Rob’ Lee, Saharah Allen; great-grandchild, Kendall Corey; childhood and life-long friend, Bobby Chancery of McDavid, FL; numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at Flomaton Funeral Home Chapel from 1 P.M. until a 2 P.M. service time with Bro. Ricky Tedder officiating.
Interment will be follow in Flomaton Cemetery, Flomaton, AL.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Chancery, Pat Burkett, Kirby Hullett, Zack Carter, Blake Lewis, Travis Johnson.
