Obituary of Julius Clyde Sims (1918-2010)

October 11, 1918 – January 10, 2010

Mr. Julius Clyde Sims age 91 of Abbie Lane in Pensacola, Fl passed away Sunday January 10, 2010 in a Pensacola Assisted Living Center after a brief illness. Mr. Sims was a native of Mountain Creek, Alabama, former resident of Bay Minette, Alabama and long time resident of Flomaton before moving to Pensacola. He was a retired Assistant Train Master Agent with the railroad industry and was a member of the Flomaton Baptist Church where he served as deacon. Mr. Sims was a member of the Norris Masonic Lodge #301. Survivors – Son; Julius Larry Sims of Pensacola; Daughter – Susanne Dortch of Atmore; 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Thursday January 14, 2010 at 2PM at the Flomaton Funeral Home with Dr. Jerry Keese officiating. Interment followed in Flomaton Cemetery with FLOMATON FUNERAL HOME DIRECTING.
