Mrs. Jean Manceaux, age 81, passed away peacefully at her Brewton residence on Sunday, November 10, 2019, surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Manceaux was a native and long-time resident of  Kaplan, LA, and had been residing in Brewton, AL for the past two and a half years.  She was a homemaker, and was of the Catholic faith.  She loved her children and grandchildren deeply, saying about them “They are my world”.  She will be missed, but will always be in their hearts.

She is survived by a son, Randall Manceaux of Kaplan, LA; three daughters, Katherine (Bobby) Mire of Kaplan, LA, Jackie (Joe) Adams of Kaplan, LA, and Donna (John) Kelley of Brewton, AL; two brothers, Elwood (Mona) Abshire of Crowley, LA, and Gilbert (Patty) Abshire of Florida; one sister, Clara (Larry) Herbert of Crowley, LA; four grandchildren, Joseph Kelley, Amberly (Stacy) Bullard, Travis (Alison) Mire, Bobby Mire, Jr.; six great-grandchildren, Dalton (Jessi) Smith, Trace Bullard, Deanne Faircloth, Hunter Mire, Hayes Mire, and Hilary Duhon; and five great-great-grandchildren, Cadence Redash, Mackenzie Wilson, Chloe Wilson, Jeauvi Menard, and Jance Menard.

The family wishes to thank Southern Care Hospice for the excellent care she received from Kristy, Jessica, and Lindsay.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at St. Maurice Catholic Church in Brewton, AL with Reverend Patrick Madden officiating.  Interment will follow at Pineview Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at St. Maurice Catholic Church on Thursday from 1:00 P.M. until service time at 2:00 P.M.

Pallbearers:  Joseph Kelley, Travis Mire, Bobby Mire, Jr., Trace Bullard, Dalton Smith, and Hunter Mire.

Honorary Pallbearers:  Hayes Mire, and Deanne Faircloth.
