Mr. Sammy Roy Jordan passed away Sunday, September 29, 2019 at his Brewton residence.
Mr. Jordan was born in Shattuck, Oklahoma and had been a resident of the Brewton area since 1990, coming from Alice, Texas. He was an Area Foreman for an oil producing company. He loved to golf and fish, and was of the Christian faith.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Gisela M. Jordan of Brewton; one son, Shane Jordan of Texas; two daughters, Christina Yarbrough of Seattle, WA, and Stefanie Jordan of Corpus Christie, TX; one sister, Madonna Birdwell of Pampa, TX; three grandchildren, Cale Yarbrough, Natasha (Joseph) Garcia, and Jared Dewey; three great-grandchildren, Liam Yarbrough, Mila Garcia, and Joseph Garcia, Jr.
A Memorial Service for Mr. Jordan will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Stephens Episcopal Church with Rev. James Korzun officiating. Inurnment will be in Lefors Memorial Heights Cemetery in Lefors, TX on Monday, October 7, 2019 at 2:00 P.M.
