Mrs. Annie Ruth Koon Nolin, age, 98 of Alco Drive in Brewton, passed away Wednesday evening September 25, 2019 at her residence in Alco. Mrs. Nolin was a native of the Roberts community and life-long resident of the Brewton area. She was a graduate of W.S. Neal High School, and retired as a Bookkeeper with Southern Pine Electric Cooperative. Mrs. Nolin was a member of the First Baptist Church of Brewton.
She is survived by one daughter, Sandra (Ronnie) Hayes of Brewton; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family members, including her caregivers.
Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Annie Ruth Koon Nolin are scheduled for Sunday afternoon September 29, 2019 at 2:30 P.M. at Union Cemetery in Brewton, with Rev. Cavin Cawthon officiating and Craver’s Funeral Home of Brewton Directing.
Preceded in death by her parents, Martin Lee Koon and Leila Kate Killingsworth Koon; husbands, Sim Ellis Ogletree & Carnell Nolin (1991), grandson, William Ellis Hayes (2017) daughters, Billye Jo Burns (2019), Janice Burke; sisters, Eleanor Dixon, Coma Lee Owens.
